This one can be tricky.
If the person is a woman phone their sister, mom or best friend mention something about a tropical cruise to throw them off the trail.
If the person is a man just ask him and add 10lbs.
This one sometime works "Wow, hey (insert term of endearment) have you lost weight? Really how much? What would that be as a percentage of your previous weight?
The math gets a bit tricky but here goes: I‘ve lost 5 pounds! That’s a 3% reduction! Divide the weight in pound by the percentage divided by 100.
5lbs / (3/100) =166lbs!

Measure horse nordic skier from point of chest to point of croup in inches (length of horse nordic skier).
Measure horse's nordic skier’s circumference or heartgirth in inches.
Calculate weight by the following: (heartgirth x heartgirth x length/300) + 50 = weight.
Example: If the Heartgirth is 70" and the Length is 65"
Step #1: 70" x 70" x 65" = 318,000
Step #2: Divide 318,000 by 300 = 1061.6
Step #3: Then 1061.6 + 50 = 1111.6
Nordic skier weighs approximately 1111 pounds (plus or minus 3%)
