The Helle Wabakimi 630 is a bushcraft knife, designed by survival experts Les Stroud. For the Wabakimi he combined the best of his Mândra neck knife with his Temagami bushcraft knife. The result is a knife that is perfect for long-term use while huting, for instance, or for other bushcraft or outdoor tasks.

Typical about the Helle Wabakimi is the very comfortable handle. Because the handle is so thick this knife even feels great in hand when you have large hands. Because the handle is oval-shaped you can hold it in different ways. As such you can use it for many different cutting techniques. The handle is made from birch wood. In terms of construction a half-tang was used. The tang of the blade runs through to the top part of the handle. At the base of the handle you can see that the wood continues.

The blade is made from a core of hard stainless steel, laminated in between two layers of 18/8 stainless steel. This core has a razor-sharp edge and is easy to sharpen. Especially because it concerns a scandi edge. Easy to sharpen and great for wood work.

The Helle Wabakimi 630 comes with a nice leather belt sheath. It has enough room for belts up to 5.5 cm wide.
