Fall colours are all around us. Here are some of our favourite places to play during the fall season!

Windy Ridge Conservation Area

30km from downtown Peterborough, Windy Ridge Conservation area is located South West of Omemee and overlooking Fleetwood Creek. You can hike, ski, snowshoe and bike the 1.8km multi use trails. Dogs are allowed, but please use a leash and pick up after your pet. The Gut Conservation Area The Gut Conservation Area is located roughly 80km North East from downtown Peterborough. This 400-acre site is home to walking trails and a scenic lookout area that overlooks the gorge. A 230m long cutout that the Crowe river flows through.

Silent Lake Provincial Park

Everyone loves silent lake and for a good reason. This Provincial Park is home to over 17km of single track for hiking, cross country skiing, trail running and snowshoeing. It also has a non-motorized lake which makes for great paddling and swimming.

Warsaw Caves Conservation Area

Well, if you live in Peterborough, odds are you know someone who always wants to come here. Home to actual caves, the Warsaw caves conservation area is also home to over 15km if hiking trails as well as a lookout point over the Indian River.
