Price Matching

At Wild Rock we constantly strive to offer competitive prices. If you find a comparable item available for immediate purchase to the general public at a lower advertised price by one of our competitors, either prior to purchase or within 14 days of your purchase, we will gladly match that price.

Our staff must be able to verify the lower price to approve the price match. They may use means such as phone, websites, advertisement and flyers (from reputable sources) as appropriate. To make the process easier, please provide all relevant information, and familiarise yourself with the details below.

How to Price Match

In-Store Purchase

If you are interested in price matching in-store, please ask at our cash. If you are price matching after a purchase, you will be asked for the original receipt.

If the price match is approved prior to purchase, we will discount the item to match the competitor’s price.

If the price match is approved after purchase, we will refund the difference between our price and the competitor’s price.

Online Order

If you are interested in price matching online, please give us a call at 705.745.9133. If you are price matching after a purchase, you will be asked for the original order number.

If the price match is approved prior to purchase, we will provide you with a single-use discount code that can be applied to the relevant item to discount it to match the competitor’s price.

If the price match is approved after purchase, we will refund the difference between our price and the competitor’s price to the payment method that was used to make the original purchase.

How we Calculate the Price

All prices are compared in Canadian Dollars (CAD). For any non-Canadian based competitors, prices will be converted to CAD at the current exchange rate.

All additional costs will be factored in to the price of the item, including, but not limited to:

  • shipping and handling
  • environmental fees
  • Import duty & taxes

When calculating additional costs at online competitors, we use our store address as the shipping destination.

For example, if a competitor offers an item at $250, and it costs $50 to ship the item to our address, we consider the competitor’s price to be $300.

Comparable Item Requirements

Your comparable item must:

  • be new
  • be of the identical model, colour, and season
  • not be second-hand, open box, used, refurbished or damaged in any way
  • be available for immediate purchase (at the lower price) through a regular retail channel at the time of the price match request

We do not price match:

  • Services
  • Rentals
  • Coupons
  • Rebates
  • Financing
  • Price errors
  • Third-party (marketplace) sellers

Shipping & Delivery

To ensure your order makes it to you, all orders require a signature upon delivery. Orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days, and we endeavour to deliver it within 2 to 14 days. A tracking number will be added to your order prior to shipping.

Most orders within Ontario arrive within 3 business days.

Free Shipping within Canada

We offer free shipping for orders over $150 (before tax) to most locations within Canada. Normal shipping rates (calculated per order) apply for orders under $150. Expedited shipping options may be available, for an additional fee.

Oversized or overweight items are not eligible for free shipping, including but not limited to:

  • Bikes
  • Trainers
  • Racks
  • Boats
  • Paddles
  • Skis
  • Poles
  • Large Coolers
  • Large Barrels

Large quantity orders may be classified as oversized or overweight.

International Shipping

Normal shipping rates (calculated per order) apply. Import duties and other fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Returns & Exchanges

We remain absolutely committed to helping our customers fuel their outdoor passions with the best outdoor gear. We understand that sometimes a purchase just isn't quite right.

Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale, and cannot be returned for a refund:

  • Underwear (excluding base layers)
  • Swimsuits
  • Food & Drinks
  • Bear Spray
  • Safety Equipment (helmets, PFDs, carabiners, etc.)
  • Masks & face coverings
  • As-Is items, including items bought:
    • as used
    • at Gear Swaps
    • at rental sell-offs

How we Handle Shipping Errors

Please inspect all items after delivery. For items lost or damaged in shipping, or if we shipped you the wrong item, please email returns@wildrock.net within 7 days of the delivery date, with images of the affected items, if possible. If a return is required, we will provide a return shipping label.

How to Return Defective Items

All the brands we sell stand behind their products with great warranty programs. If something goes wrong with your gear, we’ll help you get it repaired or replaced. That’s much better for the environment, your wallet, and your style factor.

Warranty periods vary by manufacturer, and can typically be found on their websites. Warranty claims can also be submitted directly to the manufacturer, if you’d prefer to go that route.

In-Store

Please bring the defective item to the Customer Service desk, or any available staff member. You will be asked for the original receipt.

If possible, our staff will assess the item on the spot. Otherwise, the item will be passed to our warranty department for assessment to ensure it is eligible for warranty repair or replacement.

If we are satisfied the item is eligible, we will ship the item to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. If the item is not eligible, we will return the item to you.

If the warranty claim is initiated within 60 days of the original purchase date, we may be able to refund the item to store credit, or replace the item immediately if the item is in stock.

By Mail

If you discover, within 60 days of the original delivery date, that an item you purchased from us is defective, and you cannot return the item in-store, please give us a call at 705.745.9133, or email returns@wildrock.net.

We will conduct an assessment of the item to ensure it is eligible for warranty repair or replacement. As part of the assessment process, we will ask you to email us photos of the defect.

If we are satisfied with the assessment, we will provide a return shipping label. Once we receive the item, we will ship the item to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. If the item is in stock, we may be able to ship you an immediate replacement.

How to Return Other Items

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • be new and unused
  • be in the original brand packaging
  • have all the original tags

If an item is received that does not meet the eligibility requirements, we reserve the right to offer a partial refund.

In-Store

To return an item in-store, please bring it to our cash with the original receipt. The item will be assessed to ensure it is eligible for a return. Returns must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date.

Regular-priced items can be returned for store credit or fully refunded.

Sale and discounted items can be returned for STORE CREDIT ONLY.

By Mail

To return an eligible item by mail, please give us a call at 705.745.9133 or email returns@wildrock.net. Returns must be shipped within 30 days of the original delivery date.

We will provide a quote for a return shipping label, which if you accept, will be deducted from your refund after the item is returned.

If you do not approve the quote, you are welcome to find and ship the item back to us with an alternative courier. Any return shipments with collection on delivery or other outstanding fees will be refused.

Shipping fees charged at time of purchase are not refunded and the costs of return shipping are the responsibility of the customer.

Regular-priced items can be returned for a refund, minus the costs of shipping.

Sale and discounted items can be returned for an ONLINE GIFT CARD ONLY, minus the costs of shipping.
