Wild Rock Field Trip

Wild Rock Field Trip

This past Februrary we had the pleasure of visiting 7mesh. It’s incredible to see the amount of detail and craftsmanship that goes into the gear we choose to stock on our sales floor. While the majority of products are made overseas in thoughtfully controlled manufacturing facilities. All of their products go through multiple rounds of design, prototyping, wear testing and revisions, all in-house at their Squamish, BC office, before being even considered for manufacturing.

Their passion is producing the highest performing, most durable & innovative apparel for every adventure - from quick spins close to home, to bucket list trips around the globe. So whatever you ride, and whatever the conditions, with 7mesh you're equipped for the challenge.

Most of their team of 22 live and work on the traditional and unceded territory of the Squamish Nation, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw.

“We are grateful to experience this place, and thankful to the Indigenous Peoples that have lived on and stewarded these lands for countless generations.”

Over the last century anthropologists have worked alongside members of the Squamish Nation to document their spoken language. The BC Native Language Project developed the writing system used today, resulting in their town becoming known as both Squamish and Sk̲wx̲wú7mesh. As aspiring allies they chose to reference and give thanks for their location, without wanting to reinforce the adoption of colonial place names and the erasure of Indigenous language. ‘7mesh’ is their nod to the true history of the area, and represents their commitment to contribute to progress on Indigenous issues in our country.

We maintain an incredible amount of excitement to have such a brand on our salesfloor. With their dedication to quality products, the environment and their community of Squamish, we believe their brand aligns perfectly with our own.
