Too often, quality gear ends up sitting unused—or worse, tossed before its time. Wild Again makes it easy to pass along the gear you’re no longer using—so someone else can take it on their next adventure.
You send it in.
We assess it.
You get credit:
- In-store trade-ins receive in-store credit for our Peterborough location.
- Mail-in trade-ins receive an online gift card for wildrock.net.
Credit can be donate to the ComPassion Project.
Then, we resell the gear—online and in-store—at a lower price point.

Where Wild Again Came From
At Wild Rock, we’ve spent over 30 years helping people get outside—with great gear, trusted advice, and a shared love of wild places.
But we’ve also seen the cost that outdoor gear can carry—environmentally, socially, and financially. Wild Again is our way of doing something different.
By giving well-made gear a second (or third) life, we reduce waste, lower the demand for new production, and make it easier for more people to get outside.

Wild Again is up and running—online and in-store.
You can now trade in your gear by mail from anywhere in Canada, or bring it directly to our shop in Peterborough. And whether you’re browsing online or visiting us in person, you’ll find a growing selection of hand-checked used gear ready for its next adventure.
But we’re just getting started. As Wild Again grows, we’re working to expand into more categories, more brands, and more ways to keep great gear out where it belongs.
