The challenge we put to local riders is to explore beyond habitual rides; to ride some of the quiet, rarely visited roads that make our region special.  Each of the routes we have selected is challenging but with each hill, riders are rewarded with both great views and a deep sense of accomplishment.

This is by far the most popular cycling route in the area and for good reason!  Although this map / route follows the old Rail-Trail, riders can choose the roadway, which hugs the Otonabee River north of Trent University.  While the trail is car-free, the designated scenic roadway is unique and beautiful.

This route is most riders’ introduction to cycling in the Peterborough area so if you are new to riding this is the place to start!

While in Lakefield riders can refresh with everything from great coffee to ice cream or even a full meal at one of the villages' great restaurants.
