How It Works
1) Get your gear to us
You can trade-in online by ordering shipping supplies (shipping label and/or packaging)—or if you’re local, just bring your gear into the store.
We accept outdoor clothing, footwear and gear from great brands, as long as they are:
- Clean & in good condition
No pilling, fading, shrinking, stains, pet hair, holes, delamination, or odours
- Undamaged & unaltered
No missing tags, missing or broken parts, or alterations
- From an accepted brand & category
No under or face garments, safety equipment, or consumables

2) We assess your gear, you get credit
Once your gear arrives, our team will assess it and assign one of three condition levels. Your trade-in credit is based on the item’s brand, category, and condition:
- Barely Used
New or like-new — No signs of wear
- Lightly Used
Used a handful of times — Minor signs of wear
- Moderately Used
Used regularly — Normal signs of wear

3) Redeem your credit
Use your credit to shop for something new—or explore the curated Wild Again collection.
- Mail-In Trade-Ins
Credit is issued as an online giftcard for wildrock.net.
- In-Store Trade-Ins
Credit is issued as in-store credit for our Peterborough location.
- Support the community
Credit can be donated to the ComPassion Project, which funds local social and environmental initiatives.
