Salomon's Outside Vario poles are made for purist backcountry skiers who want simplicity they can rely on. With a 50% carbon and 50% aluminum variable shaft, new outdoor-specific grip, and extended cork handle, they offer lightweight strength, adaptable comfort, and performance that stretches deep into the backcountry.
Adjustability
The variable-length shaft and extended grip let you adapt your hold and pole height for changing terrain, snow depth, and climbing angles.
Comfort
A longer, cork-textured grip with improved adjustable strap makes the pole feel natural in your hand, even on long tours or technical sections.
Lightness
The half carbon, half aluminum construction keeps these poles light and rigid, making them ideal for moving efficiently through remote terrain with less fatigue.
