The men's Sörmland Down Shirt Jacket is a quilted shirt-jacket, designed for seasonal outdoor activities like forest walking and hunting. This jacket is padded with 700 CUIN of heat-capturing and ethically produced premium goose down insulation. It has an outer made from quiet and hardwearing G-1000 Silent Eco, which is a blend of recycled polyester and organic cotton. This shell construction makes the jacket extremely supple, and its wind and waterproofness can be improved with another coat of Fjällräven's Greenland Wax. Few shirt-jacket's can match the warmth, comfort, and weatherproofing of this stylish piece, created for the fall hunting season in Scandinavia.

Fjällräven equipped the Sörmland Down Shirt Jacket with a two-way zipper that is backed by a narrow protective flap to seal out chilly winds. There are two chest pockets positioned slightly lower for easy access and two lower bellow pockets with flaps that have internal ammunition holders. There is leather along the sleeve cuffs and under the collar for enhanced durability.
