Icebreaker created the women's Stratus X Hooded Vest using eco-friendly materials to provide wearers with an incredibly warm, stylish, and condensable puffy vest, perfect for use in the alpine. It has a shell made from 100% recycled polyester, which is treated with a DWR finish to shed away wind and light precipitation. The interior is padded with Icebreakers sustainable and innovative MerinoLOFT™ insulation as opposed to a synthetic fill. MerinoLOFT™ uses crimped natural merino fibres that retain heat when wet and naturally regulate body temperature. A 100% woven merino wool lining is incredibly warm against the skin, while the insulated hood and internal collar both retain an abundant amount of core and head heat. The Metaluxe Vislon zippers glide smoothly and look great, while the two hand pockets and secure-zip inner pocket can store essential items.
