What to Send
1) Check how much your gear is worth

2) Clean & inspect your gear
Make sure your gear is clean, complete, and in good shape before sending it in.
3) Send us your gear
Estimated time: 1-2 weeks
Cut this time in half by purchasing a shipping label and using your own packaging.
4) Get credit fast
Estimated time: 3-5 days
We’ll assess your trade-in and issue you credit in the form of an online giftcard. No need to wait for your gear to sell.
How It Works
Prep your gear
We only accept gear that is clean and in good condition, from great outdoor brands. Before you send your gear:
- Check the brands & categories we accept.
- Empty Pockets: Remove all personal items from pockets and compartments.
- Clean Thoroughly: Wash or clean your gear following the manufacturer's instructions. Use unscented detergent when applicable. Tip: If it’s been in storage, give it a fresh wash—even if you cleaned it last season.
- Inspect for Wear: Examine your gear for any signs of wear. Refer to our Gear Inspection Guide for guidelines.
Choose your preferred shipping method:
- Purchase a shipping label from us and bring your own packaging; or,
- Purchase packaging from us, which comes with a return shipping label.
Pack your gear securely, ensuring all parts and components are included. Affix the shipping label to the package and drop it off at a Purolator location or call Purolator at 1 (888) 744-7123 to schedule a pickup.
Get credit, go shopping
Once we receive your gear, our team will assess it. You'll then receive an email confirming your trade-in credit and an online gift card, which can be used immediately to shop for both new and used gear, or to make a donation to the ComPassion Project.
